The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has announced ambitious plans to construct 11 radial roads connecting the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR). This infrastructure initiative will create seamless connectivity across the metropolitan region and unlock development potential in peripheral areas.
Project Details
The project will be executed in two phases:
Phase 1
42 km
Raviryal to Amangal
• 19.20 km: Raviryal (Tata Interchange) to Mirakhan Peta
• 22.30 km: Mirakhan Peta to Amangal
Phase 2
55 km
Shamshabad to Parigi
Detailed alignment under finalization
The Ratan Tata Road
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has laid the foundation stone for the first phase, with the route from Raviryal (Tata Interchange) being named "Ratan Tata Road" in honor of the legendary industrialist. This naming reflects the road's significance in connecting industrial zones and promoting economic development.
Benefits for the Region
Reduced Travel Time
Direct connections between ORR and RRR will cut commute times by 40-60% for residents in peripheral areas.
Industrial Access
Improved logistics connectivity for NIMZ, Pharma City, and other industrial clusters.
Airport Connectivity
Faster access to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport from northern and western suburbs.
Property Appreciation
Areas along radial roads historically see 30-50% appreciation within 2 years of road completion.
INFINITI COUNTI Connectivity Boost
These radial roads will significantly enhance access to INFINITI COUNTI from central Hyderabad. The project's location near the NH-65 corridor means residents will benefit from multiple connectivity options to both ORR and RRR.
Timeline:
- Phase 1: Foundation laid, construction in progress
- Phase 2: Alignment finalization underway
- Completion: Expected within 3-4 years
